Our Savior
"SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES"
"For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye
received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the
word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe." I Thessalonians 2: 13
The correct understanding of man's sinful condition and the salvation
that is available in Jesus Christ alone is derived from a study of God's
Word, the Holy Bible. The human authors, which God used to record His
thoughts and words, all agree that the Bible is inspired, inerrant, and
providentially preserved. These terms are very importĀant because they
mean that the Bible is God speaking directly to man. It gives us the
answer to man's most basic need which is forgiveness of sin and peace
with God. We urge you to seriously consider the statements made in this
brochure, to check the passages in the Holy Bible that are given as
support, and to receive Christ as your Saviour. Your forgiveness of sin
and peace with God depends on how you respond to the claims of Jesus
presented in the Bible. Don't delay, search the Scripture today! If you
do not own a Bible or New Testament, please complete the mailing slip
that is a part of this brochure, and one will be sent to you.

Assurance of salvation comes to the believer in two ways. One,
through a new life of obedience to the Word of God which results in a
growing desire for fellowship with God and His people, development of a
godly character, and of distinctive testimony in the world. Two, through

|
|
|
The person who accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour must
be aware that his decision is a vow of life-long commitment. To the

the Spirit of Christ molding his sinful character into one of purity,
righteousness and obedience . ROMANS 6, ROMANS 8: I - 14 , ROMANS

G. CONSEQUENCES OF UNBELIEF
|
|
|
Just as God blesses those who trust in Christ, so He punishes those
who, whether through ignorance or rebellion, reject the salvation which
is in Christ. The responsibility of the unsaved sinner for his sin
results in trouble during this life and torment throughout eternity.

"A PLEA TO THE UNCONVINCED"
"The fool hath said in his heart there is no God" (Psalm 14:1)
.
"There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are
the ways of death" (Proverbs 16 :25). Any person who has not been
reconciled to God through the way He has prescribed is not in a right
relationship with Him.
If you die not properly reconciled to God you fall into one of the
two categories of people who are mentioned in the Scripture passages
quoted above. The right method to receive reconciliation is to confess
your sin to Christ, ask forgiveness of Him, and trust in His sacrificial
work on the cross for your redemption, your forgiveness, and your
salvation! He took your place, suffered your punishment, met all the
requirements of God's justice for
you! Therefore it simply remains for
you to trust Christ by faith receiving Him as Saviour and making Him the
Lord, the Master of your life. You may say that the thoughts,
ideas, and concepts that have been presented are nonsense, irrelevant,
or you simply can't accept them. However, be warned that your eternal
destiny depends on your decision. Be further warned that God will hold
you responsible for the choice you make. You will not be able to blame
God for punishing you eternally because you were forewarned and
you chose not to accept His free offer of
Salvation!
Be reminded that the Bible is God speaking directly to us whether or
not we believe it or accept it. It is absolute truth! Further, God's
Word tells us "God is not mocked, for what so ever a man soweth, that
shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh
reap corruption; but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit
reap life ever lasting. " (Galatians 6:7 & 8) Simply said, follow God's
way and reap forgiveness and life everlasting or follow yourself and
reap everlasting punishment.
We plead with you to
study the statements and the supporting
Scripture passages contained in this brochure. Ask God, through prayer,
to give you understanding of His Word, so that you can receive the
earthly and heavenly blessings which His love wants for you instead of
the eternal punishment His justice demands for you.
